Surprise proposals in Lisbon
The place, the decoration, a hidden photographer and video, all planned for you
Proposal planner in Lisbon
You ask the question. We take care of the rest.
We plan surprise marriage proposals in Lisbon, Sintra and Cascais for couples from all over the world. We find the right place and the right minute, build the setup before you arrive, hide a photographer nearby and keep the whole thing secret, so the only thing left for you to do is ask.
Surprise Proposal Planning in Lisbon
Planning a proposal in a city you don't know is hard to do in secret. The famous viewpoints are packed at the wrong times, the rules for decorating public places aren't written anywhere in English, and you can't exactly ask your partner for help. That's what we're here for.
We start with your story: how you met, what your partner loves, how public or private they'd want the moment to be. Then we suggest places and times that fit, plan the day around them and send you a simple timeline with a meeting point and a signal for when to go down on one knee.

Proposal Decoration
A giant heart of red roses on the sand, MARRY ME letters glowing after sunset, a candlelit picnic in a quiet garden, or a table covered in flowers on a rooftop above the river. We design the setup around your idea and build it before you arrive.
Someone stays with it until the moment, and we take everything down afterwards, so you can walk away together without thinking about anything else.

Hidden Proposal Photographer & Video
Your photographer waits out of sight, just another person at the viewpoint with a camera, and captures the walk up, the question and the reaction exactly as they happen. Nothing is staged and nothing is missed.
Afterwards we take a relaxed engagement session nearby while you're both still glowing. Add a videographer and you'll also have a short film of the day.

Where to Propose in Lisbon
Lisbon is made for proposals: hilltop viewpoints over terracotta rooftops, a wide river that glows at sunset, palaces and gardens in Sintra, and Atlantic beaches less than an hour away.
We know when each place is quiet and when it isn't, which ones allow a setup and which need permission, and where you can ask without a crowd filming on their phones.

Questions
Frequently asked questions
How much does a surprise proposal in Lisbon cost?
Every proposal is different, so we quote each one individually. The price depends on the setup, the place, the time of day and whether you add video. Tell us your idea and your date and we'll send you a tailored quote with everything included.
How far in advance should I start planning?
Three to six weeks ahead is ideal, especially for sunset dates between April and October. We can sometimes organise something beautiful at a few days' notice, so it's always worth asking.
Will my partner find out?
Not from us. We only contact you on the number or email you choose, we never mention the proposal anywhere your partner could see it, and we'll help you with a cover story to get you both to the right place.
What if it rains or it's too windy?
We watch the forecast with you from a few days before. Every plan has a backup: a covered terrace, a different time or another day of your trip. Candles and beach setups depend on the wind, so we decide together on the day.
Do you only plan proposals in Lisbon?
We plan proposals in Lisbon, Sintra and Cascais and along the coast nearby. Somewhere else in Portugal? Ask us.
